Twitterati took jibes at Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan, who had taken to Twitter to share an inspirational and famed quote. The quote goes as “I slept and dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy”. While writing the caption of the quote, he wrote: “Those who discover and get to understand the wisdom of Gibran’s words cited below, get to live a life of contentment”.
While the tweet amassed about 23,000 likes and retweeted 5,000 times, the nation did not take long to notice the PM’s misapprehension. Many took to Twitter and mocked the Prime Minister’s grasp on knowledge.
“Mr. Khan, it doesn’t hurt to Google a quote if you are not into reading. By copying a Tagore quote and attributing it to Kahlil Gibran, you are not only getting mocked but you are making a laughing stock of the country in the process! Please!” wrote journalist Murtaza Solangi.
Another user called the PM’s tweet as a gem from Imran Khan’s trove of knowledge.

This is not the first time that Imran Khan has hit the headlines. Previously, in several interviews, he has been taunted by the media for wrongly stating politically important facts. While visiting Iran in April, he had said Japan and Germany shared borders.
