Former cricketer and congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu supported Pakistan, two days after the Pulwama tragedy took place killing about 40 plus soldiers. Yes, the Punjab cabinet minister’s words were quite hurtful. He stated “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemn-able an those who I it must be punished.”
As soon as the people heard this, the rage among them lifted up. They understood what actually the former cricketer meant to convey. Few months before, he was seen attending the Sworn-in ceremony of The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. This clears the air that, Siddhu was still batting for talks with Pakistan. The netizen wasted no time in taking him in. They started demanding ejection of Siddhu from the very famous television show “The Kapil Sharma Show”. They took under the Channel on which the show is being telecasted stating that they will unsubscribe the channel if Siddhu is still remain in the show.
The Channel Management heard the voice of public and asked the production house to open the exit gates for Siddhu as his comments created an awkward situation for the Channel. After his ouster from the show, the rumors are that Archana Puran Singh should be replacing him, but till now the production house hasn’t approached her yet and nothing is finalized.
