At least 38 CRPF personnel were brutally killed on Thursday, 14th of February, 2019, when a Scorpio being driven by a 20 year old boy and about 100 Kgs of Improvised Explosives (IEDs), rammed into one of the buses from the convoy carrying the soldiers. Indian PM Narendra Modi, in a public speech, warned those responsible for Pulwama attack would have to “pay for blood with blood”, and said that they have made a terrible mistake.
